Welcome to Retroville! It's 1956!
The Academy Award winning film for best picture was Around the World in 80 Days.

Based on the novel of the same name by Jules Verne, the story follows a Victorian Englishman, Phileas Fogg, who makes a wager that with the new steamships and railroads, he can get around the world in 80 days.

Setting off on his adventure with his butler, Passepartout, he begins his globetrotting in Paris. Bumbling in and out of global adventures, Phileas Fogg finds himself back in England--a few hours short of winning. Or has he lost?
